6 Scrumptious Recipes for Cherry Tomato Season

Although I’m a big proponent of eating with the seasons, I confess to buying cherry tomatoes pretty much year-round. I find that when sold on the vine, cherry tomatoes more than pass the taste test (Poppies and Sugar Bombs are brands to look for). That being said, there is truly nothing like a locally-grown cherry tomato during the late spring and summer months, particularly the Sungold variety. It’s with that in mind, that I’ve pulled out my very best cherry tomato recipes, since now is the time to put them to good work.
1. Slow Roasted Cherry Tomato Pasta

2. Sheet Pan Salmon with Tomatoes, Feta, and Basil

3. Honey-Roasted Tomato Bruschetta

4. Grilled Chicken with Tomatoes, Olives, and Avocado

5. Spaghetti with Tomatoes, Corn, and Basil

6. Fattoush with Crispy Pita

I have my first tomato forming on the plant and am very excited. Fresh is best. I love tomato sandwiches and roast lots too….for the freezer! I have never tried adding honey, this will be new to try. Lastly tomato/basil salt is really beautiful finishing salt. Oh, and I learned that whirling sun dried tomatoes is great in many soups! Enjoy the juicy red season!
