Much as I might wish I had all the time in the world to fill my kids with homemade food 24/7, the truth is that I rely on store-bought snacks just like any other typical mom. My own personal “go to” snack on the run for several years has been KIND Bars. Recently, my kids have gotten hooked on them too. I like KIND because they taste delicious, are made mostly of nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, without a lot of mystery ingredients. They’re also GMO- and gluten-free, if that’s on your radar. I also appreciate KIND, the company, for their message of doing “the KIND Thing for our bodies, taste buds, world.” They support non-profit efforts around the globe and bring to light amazing people doing amazing things to help others.
Today the folks at KIND are very kindly offering a box of 24 bars to one lucky Mom’s Kitchen Handbook reader. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below sharing either 1) a favorite snack food or 2) a simple act of kindness that someone has done for you lately. You can double your chances by “liking” my Facebook page; leave a second comment below saying you’ve done so.
Now, go do something kind, even if it’s something kind for yourself.
Contest ends at midnight PST Thursday September 26. You must be 18 years or older to enter and live in the United States.
